Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you use Synapse.
1. About these terms
Synapse is provided by Challenge Solved AB (559606-8634), Kläppestigen 17, 436 51 Hovås, Sweden. By creating an account or using Synapse, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Synapse for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
- Tell us straight away at privacy@challengesolved.ai if you think your account has been misused.
3. Your content
You own the meeting notes, files and other content you add, and the results Synapse creates from them. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run Synapse for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to add your content. That includes letting meeting participants know their meetings are recorded or summarised where the law requires it.
4. AI results
Synapse uses AI to suggest decisions, action items, summaries and draft emails. AI can make mistakes. Results are suggestions: please check them before relying on them or sending them to anyone. Synapse never sends a follow-up email without you pressing Send.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Synapse to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, to upload malware, to try to access other people's data, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Plans and payment
- Free plan: free of charge, with the limits shown on our pricing page. We may change the free plan's limits; we'll tell you before changes affect you.
- Pro plan: paid monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay, in euros, excluding VAT where applicable.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel at any time from Plans & billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the Free plan. Your workspaces and notes are kept.
- Refunds: we don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription. By starting to use Pro straight away you ask us to begin immediately, and if you withdraw you may be charged for the part already used.
- Price changes: we will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your subscription.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Synapse available and secure but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you can cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of your period.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Synapse and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after warning you where reasonable. After closure we delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
Synapse is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we'll tell you by email or in Synapse at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Synapse after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and can bring claims there.
